CCS grade D hull shipbuilding plate datasheet

CCS grade D hull shipbuilding plate product is a low-alloy high-strength steel that adds a small amount of alloying elements to general steel to make it have corrosion resistance in the atmosphere. Weathering steel has 2-8 times the atmospheric corrosion resistance of ordinary carbon steel, and the longer the service time, the better the corrosion resistance. In addition to excellent weather resistance, weathering steel also has excellent mechanical and welding functions.

The company is a leading steel production and exporting group in steel materials with advanced production technology, metal-cutting skill, and steel structures engineering projects. We can supply carbon steel plate and sheet, alloy steel plates and structural CCS grade D hull shipbuilding plate steel plates. These hot rolled steel plates are sturdy plates having high quality. Their imperviousness to effect and scrapped area, weld capacity, and workability make them a worthy product in a variety of industries.

The CCS grade D hull shipbuilding plate steel making furnace can only be used as primary refining, and the refining needs to be completed in the refining equipment outside the furnace, which is also called secondary refining. It is mainly through decarburization, desulfuration, denitrification and dephosphorization to improve the cleanness of the steel, to establish a chromium molybdenum low alloy steel with good oxidation resistance and high temperature strength, to remove unwanted harmful impurities from the steel, and to improve the CCS grade D hull shipbuilding plate internal quality of the steel.

The sulfur element (S element) comes from the ore and fuel coke of steelmaking. It is a harmful element in CCS grade D hull shipbuilding plate etc. steel. Sulfur exists in steel in the form of iron sulfide (FeS). FeS and Fe form a low melting point (985℃) compound. The hot working temperature of steel is generally above 1150 - 1200℃, so when the steel is hot working, the premature melting of FeS compound causes the workpiece to crack, which is called "hot brittleness". It reduces ductility and toughness of steel and causes cracks during forging and rolling. Sulfur is also detrimental to welding performance and reduces corrosion resistance.

The company has passed the ISO9001: 2008 quality system certification, strictly implemented the ISO9001 quality management system. Besides, we have continuously improved the after-sales service network to make every effort to provide more convenient, accurate and faster services for all customers. We will supervise the production, control the quality in the factory, Inspect the cargo before shipment, Issue the test report to sales department. From the steel prodcution to steel delivery, we always focus the whole process.
