[65 to 100 mm], inclusive.

The most remarkable characteristic of low alloy high strength steel is high strength. In hot rolling or normalizing state, the strength of low alloy high strength steel is generally 30% - 50% higher than that of corresponding carbon engineering structural steel, BV grade E traffic boat steel. The sizing machine uses a cone-shaped bit to rotate into the steel embryo at high speed to drill holes to form steel pipes. The inner diameter of the steel pipe is determined by the outer diameter length of the drill bit of the sizing machine. After sizing, the steel pipe will enter the cooling tower and be cooled by water spray. After cooling, the steel pipe will be straightened. After straightening, the steel pipe is sent to the metal flaw detector (or hydraulic test) by the conveyor belt for internal flaw detection.

BV grade E traffic boat steel, SS400 steel is one of the most commonly used hot rolled general structural steel. SS400 steel’s mechanical properties is yield strength more than 225-235MPa, tensile strength 360-510Mpa and 340-470Mpa. For SS400 steel, the C element content is 0.2% max, the Mn element content is 1.40% max, the P element content is 0.045% max, the S element content is 0.045% max.
