It is widely used in parts with high requirements. Disadvantages of ordinary carbon killed steel plate: the surface quality of the killed steel plate is not as good as that of boiling plates, there are concentrated shrinkage holes, and the killed steel plate price is more expensive.
Quenching and tempering (QT) is a double heat treatment process of quenching and high temperature tempering.
