In April 2018, our Philiphine customer purchased 1008 Tons API5 L Gr.B ERW&Q345B SMLS pipe ABS grade A monohull steel for offshore oildfield resources drilling project. This is a regular demand almost two month, and we has been cooperated more than three times, totally around 2100 tons steel pipe since 2015 year.

40Cr steel belongs to alloy structural steel. ABS grade A monohull steel, 40Cr steel has good comprehensive properties, low temperature impact toughness and low notch sensitivity after quenching and tempering on the basis of high-quality carbon structural steel No. 40. 40Cr steel mechanical properties: tensile strength: ≥ 980mpa, yield strength: ≥ 785MPa, elongation after fracture: ≥ 9%, elongation after fracture: ≥ 45%, impact absorption energy: ≥ 47J. 40Cr steel chemical composition: C: 0.37-0.44, Si: 0.17-0.37, Mn: 0.50-0.80, Cr: 0.80-1.10.
