The production process of hot-rolled steel plate and cold-rolled steel plate is different. Hot rolled steel plate is rolled at high temperature, and cold rolled steel plate is rolled at normal temperature. Generally speaking, cold rolled steel plate has better strength and hot rolled steel plate has better ductility. The thickness of A131 grade A boat building steel cold rolling is generally smaller, and that of hot rolling can be larger. The surface quality, appearance and dimension accuracy of cold rolled steel plate are better than that of hot rolled steel plate.

The final properties of quenched and tempered alloy steel depend on tempering temperature. Generally, it is tempered at 500 ℃ - 650 ℃. The required properties can be obtained by selecting tempering temperature. In order to prevent the second kind of temper brittleness, fast cooling (water cooling or oil cooling) after tempering is beneficial to the improvement of toughness.
For Q235 steel, Q represents the yield limit of this material, and the following 235 refers to the yield value of Q235 steel, which is about 235 MPa. The A131 grade A boat building steel, Q235 steel yield strength decreases with the increase of the thickness of the material. The yield strength is 235 MPa when the plate thickness / diameter is ≤ 16mm; 225 MPa is the yield strength when the thickness is 16mm < plate thickness / diameter ≤ 40mm; 215 MPa is the yield strength when 40mm < plate thickness / diameter ≤ 60mm; 205 MPa is the yield strength when 60mm < plate thickness / diameter ≤ 100mm; 195 MPa when the plate thickness / diameter is ≤ 150mm; 195 MPa when the thickness / diameter is less than 150mm; and ≤ 200mm when the thickness / diameter is less than 150mm The yield strength is 185 MPa.
